Technical details of the Decanter / Tricanter

Efficient design

The centrifugal force of the rotating drum presses the sludge against the drum wall, thus separating it from the remaining water. The screw inside the drum conveys the sludge to the discharge.

Stable flocs

A flocculant is added that will withstand the shear forces.

Adjustable moisture content

The water is discharged by means of an adjustable overflow weir.
