Waste Reception

Incoming waste is weighed, checked and registered as soon as it enters a waste sorting facility.

Feed-stock preparation

Before waste enters the sorting line, contaminants are removed to ensure optimal sorting.

Dosing, Buffering & Bag opening

At the start of the sorting line, waste is fed into a buffer. From this buffer waste is gradually dosed into the sorting line, to create a constant flow. Sometimes automatic bag opening is added to unlock the materials inside any incoming bags.
