Automatically cleaning
Keeps the sand bed clean when in operation.
Fouling monitoring & automatic control
The level sensor in the inlet distribution compartment monitors the fouling of the sand filter. This level sensor first adjusts the auger speed of the sand washer. When it reaches its maximum speed it will proceed by closing the intake valve, enabling the sand washers to catch up with sand cleaning.
After the auger speed and water level have dropped to their minimum levels, the water intake is resumed.
Even sand distribution
Sand washers travel horizontally over the sand bed ensuring even distribution of the sand over the sand bed.
