Technical details of the flower disk-screen

  • The Colubris screen deck is divided into several sections which contain a number of shafts. Each section is driven by a gear motor via a chain; the sprockets are equipped with a slip coupling to protect the drives from possible over torque.
  • For cleaning, inspection and maintenance purposes the machine is equipped with a door.
  • The shafts can be exchanged without the need to disconnect the bearings.
  • Resilient discs prevent blocking and damage significantly. Because the discs have a large diameter there is minimal chance to windings around shaft sleeves.
  • A crane track is used for maintenance, including trolley, excluding hoist, max lift weight is 500 kg.
