Description
This windshifter is similar to the RSB windshifter, but it is fed via a vibrating table, instead of a conveyor belt.
A ventilator situated below the conveyor belt creates an air flow. This air flow is directed to the end of the rubber belt conveyor by means of a nozzle. The light material falling from the conveyor is blown across the rotating drum. The heavy material is too heavy for the air flow and falls down in front of the drum, or bounces against the drum, and then falls down.
It’s crucial to have a set input range for optimal separation for the heavies and the lights. With the many adjustable parameters, the machine can be fine-tuned to the fluctuations of incoming material. In the large hood the light materials are brought back from a turbulent stream to a laminar stream.
