Mechanical Engineer
Within our organization, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for designing machines and/or products that meet the specified customer and design specifications.
Job description
- Designing machines, products, and parts independently and as part of a team (e.g., during development);
- Performing the necessary (strength) calculations and selecting materials.
- Creating and checking models, (production) drawings, and parts lists.
- Testing the design against the design requirements and applicable legislation;
- Generating dxf files and step files.
- Consulting with project managers and project engineers to obtain the correct design specifications;
- Consulting with production to obtain an (optimally) manufacturable design;
What we expect from you
- Vocational education with several years of work experience, or higher vocational education
- Technical mechanical engineering knowledge, acquired through experience and/or training;
- Preferably with ATEX or CE affinity;
- Relevant (process) knowledge and experience in the field of water treatment and recycling;
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (including machine safety and the environment);
- Knowledge and experience with 2D and 3D CAD drawing systems, preferably Creo Elements Direct Drafting (2D) and Creo Elements Direct Modeling (3D);
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English, German is an advantage;
- Good communication skills;
- Customer and service-oriented approach;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Accurate and meticulous work and documentation skills;
