Mechanical Engineer

Within our organization, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for designing machines and/or products that meet the specified customer and design specifications.

Job description

  • Designing machines, products, and parts independently and as part of a team (e.g., during development);
  • Performing the necessary (strength) calculations and selecting materials.
  • Creating and checking models, (production) drawings, and parts lists.
  • Testing the design against the design requirements and applicable legislation;
  • Generating dxf files and step files.
  • Consulting with project managers and project engineers to obtain the correct design specifications;
  • Consulting with production to obtain an (optimally) manufacturable design;


What we expect from you  

  • Vocational education with several years of work experience, or higher vocational education
  • Technical mechanical engineering knowledge, acquired through experience and/or training;
  • Preferably with ATEX or CE affinity;
  • Relevant (process) knowledge and experience in the field of water treatment and recycling;
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (including machine safety and the environment);
  • Knowledge and experience with 2D and 3D CAD drawing systems, preferably Creo Elements Direct Drafting (2D) and Creo Elements Direct Modeling (3D);
  • Knowledge and experience with MS Office;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English, German is an advantage;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Customer and service-oriented approach;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Accurate and meticulous work and documentation skills;
